About the Event
Cizzle Bio is proud to sponsor the Gut Check for Stomach Cancer 5K Walk, hosted by Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF). This community-driven event takes place on November 8, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, and brings together advocates, survivors, and supporters during Stomach Cancer Awareness Month to raise visibility and funding for gastric cancer research and support.
Led by passionate advocates and survivors—including Kelle Brown, Yoli Day, and Joan Justin-George—the event shines a light on the strength of individuals affected by this often-overlooked disease and the importance of early detection.
Why We’re Supporting This Event
At Cizzle Bio, our mission is to transform cancer diagnostics through minimally invasive, accurate, and accessible biomarker-based blood tests. We are committed to ensuring more patients are diagnosed earlier, when treatment options are most effective.
Our DEX-G2 test for gastric cancer is a direct response to the unmet need in this space. Designed to detect gastric cancer in its earliest stages, DEX-G2 leverages a dual biomarker approach using cell-free and exosomal miRNAs, validated in a multicenter trial with 95% sensitivity and 96% specificity. This innovation empowers clinicians to identify the disease before symptoms appear, offering patients better chances for timely intervention and improved outcomes.
Supporting DDF’s Gut Check event reflects our belief that scientific innovation and community advocacy must go hand in hand to drive meaningful change.
