About the Event

The Cancer Research Institute Annual Awards Gala celebrates the bold thinkers and pioneering scientists advancing cancer immunotherapy. This year’s theme, Courage in Motion, highlights the breakthroughs that have redefined cancer treatment and the shared drive to unlock what’s next.

The evening will mark two major milestones in immunotherapy progress—the 15-year anniversary of the ipilimumab (Yervoy®) clinical trial and the 10-year anniversary of the combined ipilimumab/nivolumab (Opdivo®) clinical trial.

Hosted by acclaimed journalist Cynthia McFadden, the event brings together leading researchers, clinicians, patients, and supporters in a shared mission to create a world immune to cancer.
