Event Overview
Cizzle Bio will attend the 2nd Annual Global Cancer Research & Innovation Symposium (GCRIS), taking place October 5–6, 2026, in New York City. The symposium’s theme, “Accelerating Tomorrow’s Cancer Breakthroughs Through Investment and Leading-Edge Science,” reflects its focus on bringing promising discoveries closer to patients.
Hosted by the Association for Value-Based Cancer Care (AVBCC), this day-and-a-half program brings together investors, pharmaceutical and biotechnology executives, clinical development leaders, regulators, academic innovators, cancer centers, and research partners from across the oncology ecosystem.
GCRIS examines the full cancer drug-development lifecycle—from early discovery and clinical research to investment strategy, regulatory pathways, commercialization, and clinical-trial execution. Programming will explore how strategic investment, artificial intelligence, partnerships, and emerging technology platforms can accelerate the next generation of cancer therapies and diagnostics.
Dr. Steven Rosen’s Panel Participation
Dr. Steven Rosen, Cizzle Bio’s Scientific Advisor and Provost and Chief Scientific Officer at City of Hope, will participate in Swim Across America Pioneers: “What We are Doing in Our Labs Today?” on October 6, 2026, from 5–6 p.m. EDT in the Lounge on the 9th Floor.
Moderated by Matt Vossler, Founder of Swim Across America and Managing Partner at DSG Global, the panel will also feature Taha Merghoub (Meyer Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medicine), Andrea Cercek (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center), and Dave Tuveson (Lustgarten Foundation; Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Cancer Center). The discussion will spotlight the work underway in leading cancer research labs.
Dr. Rosen’s participation highlights his leadership in cancer research and the advancement of new approaches to cancer detection and care. It also reinforces the scientific expertise guiding Cizzle Bio as we continue advancing the CIZ1B Biomarker Blood Test for Lung Cancer and our broader biomarker strategy.
