About the Event

The Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 32nd Annual Gala, themed Puerto Rico: La Isla del Encanto, will bring together leaders from the business, diplomatic, government, medical, philanthropic, sports and social communities for an evening dedicated to advancing cancer prevention and early detection.

Recognized as one of Washington’s premier charity events, the Annual Gala attracts more than 1,000 guests and raises funds for the Foundation’s research, education, advocacy and community programs. Since 1985, the Prevent Cancer Foundation has worked toward its mission: Stopping Cancer. Saving Lives.

The evening begins with a reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 7:30 p.m. and dancing at 9:00 p.m. CNN anchor and senior national correspondent Sara Sidner will serve as Master of Ceremonies. The event will honor 2026 Cancer Champions Representative Steve Scalise and Representative Richard Neal.
